We’re still accepting bids for Throwdown, March 6-7, 2010! If you want to submit a bid, just send an email to throwdown.td@gmail.com. Check out the website for more information about how to submit a bid, who’s attending, etc.
The thing that makes Throwdown unique this year is the Roundup Division: 8 of the best women’s club players from around the country are going to be brought in to coach the teams in the Roundup Division for the weekend. Teams will play 4-6 games over the course of the weekend, but will also have scheduled bye rounds where their guest coaches will be able to go over drills and skills with them, review strategy, and generally give them tools that they can take back to practice. There will also be a “regular” Division I and II for those teams who want a competitive tournament experience. Unfortunately the Roundup Division is already full, but there’s still space in Division I and II. Submit a bid today! Midwest Throwdown 2010 is shaping up to be the most competitive it’s ever been.
Also, follow the action tournament weekend on Twitter! Michelle is sure to be tweeting updates every few minutes…
Now on to our fall season…Theresa said she’d write something up for this blog since we kind of suck at posting, but so far she’s been a bum. And since I’m no less lazy than her…here’s WUWU’s fall season in pictures.
