Without Limits is proud to present our third Blog of the Week. Each week, we will be featuring one of the blogs in our College Women’s Ultimate blogroll. Starting next week, we’ll be pushing this a little further back in the week in order to accommodate busy schedules. This week’s featured blog is Chalk Talk Ak, authored by Yale University captain Aki Younge. Aki is a fourth year player and first year captain for Ramona who also plays club with the Gun Totin’ Teddy Bears and who formerly played with the Bashing Piñatas.
In her latest post, Aki talks about some of the joys and challenges of being a first year captain. I think that anyone who has captained a college women’s team can identify with many of the things Aki writes about. As Yale’s #1 fan (who doesn’t love Ramona Quimby?!), I am looking forward to following Aki’s journey this spring, and hope that you enjoy her writing as well.
