An opportunity came up to work with Skyd to do event previews and recaps for Without Limits events, which has been fun but exhausting. I want to get the college women’s division more coverage and I know this is a fantastic opportunity. It’s just a lot on my plate. You can check out the articles on the Skyd website or on the Media page of the Without Limits site.
We had a Competition Committee meeting this past weekend, which meant a lot of hours of work. The NDs are a bunch of smart, talented people and it’s always a privilege to interact with them. QCTU Qualifier and Pres Day Qualifier also happened over the weekend. Lang and Nat did a great job of holding things down despite some challenging situations. Very impressed with both of them. Highlight of the weekend was definitely receiving an unexpected package from Amber, which included this card.
Through internet research and the expertise of some friends, I have self-diagnosed myself as having first degree frostbite in at least three of my fingers. Thankfully, these fingers are on my writing hand and not my throwing hand. I’m being flippant, but I hope I regain feeling in them soon.
I’m headed to Chapel Hill on Thursday for QCTU. I’ll be working from there Friday and Monday, and helping run the women’s division and HS division this weekend. Looking forward to seeing friends and getting out of the cold for a bit.
