I follow both the USC and UCLA twitter feeds (tenuous ultimate connection to post: check) and both gave great shout outs to their moms! I just wanted to take this time out to thank all the incredible, beautiful, strong, smart, phenomenal women we have in our lives. You don’t get enough props for everything that you do, and we would be nothing without you, literally.
We’ve had our share of differences, but my mom is the most important person in my life, and she’s my hero. She teaches me every single day what it means to be patient, strong, and selfless. I don’t know anyone else who gives as much as my mom does and asks for so little in return. I don’t know that I’ll ever find a way to properly thank her for everything she’s done for me, and I know I’ll never have the words to tell her that she means everything to me. She’s just the best! I love you, mom!
So what if I’m a mama’s girl? 🙂
