Since I’m asking so many of my friends to write for the Without Limits Blogroll, I feel like I need to do my part and contribute some content as well. I’m about to head into a pretty ridiculous stretch- eight Without Limits tournaments, a bunch of skills and team building clinics, and then the USA Ultimate Series. I also have a new job, just moved to a new city, and will likely be trying out for a new team. It’s a bit overwhelming.
Moving gave me the opportunity to do some reflecting and life evaluating. I was reading Tully’s blog recently and he posted this gem from Mike Kryzewski’s The Gold Standard: “No time for excuses. No time for surprises. No time for inner turmoil.” I am fortunate to have awesome people and projects in my life, so it’s time to refocus my time and energy on them, and leave the rest behind. No more wasting time.
