“This has been the most positive ultimate experience I have ever had. Being a very young and very small team, it’s hard to find tournaments that suit our needs while helping us to improve. I have seen such great strides of improvement from my women individually and as one team. We have grown closer because of this weekend through our sweat and blood and bruises and fight. Before this weekend, I had found myself lost in the paperwork and drama that comes with being a lead; this tournament brought me back to the love of playing ultimate and made me remember why I started the women’s team in the first place.”
