a. Who makes these videos? That “Second Place” video got me some kind of hype. (Of course, I also don’t think that losing makes you a loser — accepting it does. But this is coming from an Illinois/Chicago fan, so…)
b. I’ve really only looked at the women’s schedule. And I’m boring. The only upset I feel okay calling is Heist over Brute. But I’d also like to see the Capitals upset Scandal.
c. My Fantasy Final Four: Fury, Capitals (in my bracket, I have them finishing C2 because I’m too much of a wuss to write that upset in pen), Riot, Phoenix. Champies: Fury over Riot. Boring, boring, boring.
d. I don’t know what the Nightlock jerseys look like, but I hope they are amazing. They will probably have the best cheers (“PRIMROSE EVERDEEN! I VOLUNTEER!”). Also, I want them never to shake anybody’s hand, but just do this. You could say I am a fangirl. *squees*
e. This is the first time since they’ve started streaming that I haven’t had the worst internet speed in the history of terrible internet speeds. You could say I’m excited.
f. A lot of friends and former teammates will be competing this weekend: Good luck to all of you! And the biggest of shout outs to all the Illinois Ultimate alums.
