It’s a Capitol Takeover!

I’m putting together a women’s club team in Wisconsin called Capitol Takeover. Check out my logo design below too!

This is the information I’m circulating so far.

The team will be called Capitol Takeover. We are going to seek sponsorship through Madison businesses and

have Madison be the base for the team. This team is for ALL Wisconsin women interested
in playing competitive frisbee this summer. It will be a competitive learning team.

Commitment will amount to practice once a week at a central location in the state so we can

get as many women as possible involved. I will be organizing things from Eau Claire with
Robyn Fennig in Madison as my partner for this team.

Tournaments:

Possibly Wisconsin Swiss

Cooler Classic
MUDI
Chicago Heavyweights
The USAultimate series

I would like you to all spread word of this to the women on your teams. This is something I

want to start and maintain for the future. I’m the women’s club coordinator for our section and
so far we have Pop and the women’s Surly team playing which are both from Minnesota.
Wisconsin needs representation! We have so many talented women out there so here’s
your opportunity to gain more ultimate experience and play some awesome club frisbee
this summer.

My goals for this team are:

1. Build women’s club ultimate in the central region and the northwest plains section.

2. Create a Wisconsin women’s club team that remains consistent in existence

3. Give Wisconsin women more ultimate experience

4. Provide a competitive learning environment

*I’m also looking for those of you that hold leadership positions on your college teams to

come out and help Robyn and I build this team. I know there has been a lot of talk about
building a women’s team in this state and I have the passion and time to put into this.
Hopefully you are willing to do so too.

**This may/may not be a tryout team. It all depends on interest and how many women we

can get involved.

Please forward to any other Wisconsin women you know!

Thanks!
