LEADERSHIP CLINIC (9:00-11:30 AM)- CLASSROOM
The following topics will be covered:
– Creating Buy-In and a Positive Team Environment (Michelle Ng)
Same page, right page.  One of the most challenging elements of building a team is getting everyone to buy in to the team’s goals and to work together to achieve them.  How do you create a team environment that fosters this?  How do you deal with the various challenges that come up, including negative teammates, disagreements among leadership, and personal frustration?
– From Team to Program: Building Blocks for Success (Lili)
Now that you have 15 players regularly attending practices and you have qualified for your first Regionals, how do you take the next step?  How do you go from team to program and ensure success after you graduate?

– Tournament Preparation: Self and Team (Lili)
We train to peak for competition.  How do we build a routine and a game plan that optimizes our chances for success at tournaments?  What do we, as leaders, need to do to get both ourselves and our team prepared for competition?
– Mental Toughness (Michelle Ng)
We spend hours in the gym, on the track, and on the field to prepare our bodies for competition, but what are we doing to get our minds prepared?  How do we train ourselves and our teammates, some of whom may have very little competitive sports backgrounds, to overcome these mental hurdles?
