Katherine Wooten is one of the current captains of Atlanta-based Ozone and is one of the most storied players in the Southeast. She is a former Georgia player and team leader, and has been a long-standing member of Ozone, anchoring the team in a handling role over the course of the past decade. Wooten has been instrumental in the building of both the Georgia and Ozone programs– her leadership skills, on-field abilities, and love for the sport are infectious, and have earned her great respect among teammates and opponents alike. Wooten has also taken it upon herself to mentor younger players in Atlanta. She is a storehouse of knowledge and is generous with her time and energy in investing in these younger players. Wooten and her vast experience will be a tremendous asset to the Layouts coaching team, and we are thrilled to have her on board.
