Here’s a sample point that is also pretty instructive.  First – the D. Hard to comment on D like this in the short commentary videos, but just look at how hard Phoenix has to work for everything. Kirstin, for example is just dominating. As for the Riot O on the turn, a couple of comments. (1) Riot gets the disc downfield quickly. (2) Notice Elle’s cut when Calise has the disc around 1:45– she’s trying to do too much and ends up bringing one extra O and D player into the downfield cutting lanes. (3) After getting the disc to Calise, the Riot O breaks down and becomes much more back and forth across the field rather than up and down. 2:31 is a good example when Nora gets the disc unguarded in the middle of the field. She’s not looking to get the disc to the endzone, but rather immediately swings the disc to the sideline. The disc going so quickly from an unguarded thrower in the middle of the field to someone marked on the sideline feels like the second beset option.

The clip contains two zone O possessions. The first is against Phoenix and the second is against Ozone. In the first one, Riot struggles to get the disc up the field. In the second, Riot moves the disc really well. Think through these two possessions to see what you think went right and what could be improved.
