We are very proud to announce Women’s College Centex 2013! This is the 10th year of the women’s division of College Centex, and the 5th year of partnership between Without Limits and the University of Texas Women’s Ultimate program. This tournament has historically been the premier spring college tournament and we look forward to continuing that tradition. Our goal is to continuously improve the level of competition, as well as the quality of the experience at our tournament.
This year, we will be hosting 40 teams in order to accommodate the growing number of elite women’s programs. The majority of bids have been allocated based on historical program strength and/or recent Regional and National finishes. There have also been several bids awarded to promote the growth of women’s ultimate, both in the South and among up-and-coming teams across the nation. Coaches and captains in every region have been consulted in the bid allocation process. We have done our research and are confident that we will be bringing you the best possible competition.
We are grateful for the opportunity to work with our alma mater University of Texas on this tournament. Melee has played such a formative role in the development of Without Limits and in our overall ultimate experience. We are thankful that they allow us to be a part of something so special year after year.
Please note that this will be a USA Ultimate sanctioned event. All participants will be required to be USA Ultimate members.
